John has a background as the Vice President, Global Accounting & Compliance at O-I Glass, Inc. (NYSE:OI). In that position, John was responsible for the strategic leadership and management of accounting and reporting systems, compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and oversight of the company's retirement plans.

John is a certified public accountant in Ohio and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder; he holds a BBA from the University of Toledo. A fan of classical music, John also serves on the board of the Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts as chair of the investments committee. John and his wife, Janell, are natives of Northwest Ohio and have four children: Allison, John, Lauren, and Bridget.
