SkillUp: Mastering Life’s Essentials Workshops

These workshops are designed to equip students and young adults with real-life skills as they step into the world.

Basic Home Repairs: Electrical 101

9:30am - 12:30pm

Learn basic electrical wiring to fix that annoying loose outlet or add a dimmer switch to the kitchen.

Career Compass

1:00pm - 4:00pm

A class to help students identify what career might be right for them, and learn best practices around writing a resume and interviewing.

An Introduction to Biblical Counseling

A five-week course designed to do the following: 

  •  Give you an introduction to true Biblical counseling. 

  • Equip you to offer biblical advice and support to people in your life. 

  • Give you a biblical framework for dealing with sin, stress, anxiety, worry, and decision-making. 

Mentoring the Struggling Marriage

A four-week course designed to do the following:

  • Understand God’s design for marriage, including roles, responsibilities, and covenant commitment.

  • Use biblical principles to address communication breakdowns, trust issues, infidelity, financial stress, and intimacy struggles.

  • Help couples rely on God’s grace for transformation and reconciliation.
